The most recent Nile River fleet is being delivered by Viking.

Viking announced now that it has received the ship’s most recent Nile River voyage, the Viking Sobek. At the Massara factory in Cairo, Egypt, the novel vehicle was presented.

The 82-guest Viking Sobek joins the company &#8217, s growing fleet of ships for the Nile River, and will operate Viking &#8217, s popular 12-day Pharaohs &amp, Pyramids itinerary.

Viking Sobek, a 82-person river ship with 41 staterooms, is influenced by Viking &#8217, other river ships, and ocean ships with its upscale Scandinavian design, which the brand is known for. It&#8217, s an similar girl dispatch to Viking Osiris, Viking Aton, and Viking Hathor. Viking Ra and MS Antares are different vessels in the Egyptian ships.

In the coming two decades, Viking will add four more Nile River ships to its ship, including Viking Sekhmet and Viking Ptah in 2026 and Amun and Viking Thoth in 2025. The number of vessels in Egypt did increase to 10.

During the 12-day Pharaohs &amp, Pyramids stay, visitors begin with a three-night sit at a first-class resort in Cairo, where they can attend classic sites such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, the crypt of Sakkara, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, or the Grand Egyptian Museum.

After arriving in Luxor, travelers transfer to a Norse river send for an eight-day round journey on the Nile River, which includes visits to the tomb of Nefertari in the Valley of the Queens and Tutankhamen in the Valley of the Kings, as well as visits to the churches of Qena, Abu Simbel, and the High Dam in Aswan, as well as a visit to a vibrant Nubian village, where visitors can experience a traditional secondary school. The journey ends with a flight back to Cairo for a last night’s worth of sightseeing in the historic city.
