When it travels to South America next month, American boat line Cunard has announced it will provide up to five days of sea rides.
Cunard will work in the region for the first time since 2020 with Queen Victoria‘, s 78-night South America Discovery tour flying round from Southampton. The flying may flee on January 9, 2025.
The plan may include names at classic locations including Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Patagonia, the Chilean valleys, Callao, and Salvador.
South America Excursions
4 morning overland to Machu Picchu
A trip into Peru’s hills to explore Machu Picchu. includes a trip to a flower-growing Himalayan village before a train ride to Machu Picchu for a personal experience with the Quechua-speaking citizens. includes Koricancha’s spiritual page and Sacsayhuaman’s fortress.
5 time overland to the Galapagos
An opportunity to learn about the Galapagos Islands ‘ animals. Time three and four have a full-day vessel, with choices on the day including the islands of Bartolome, Seymour &, Bachas, Plazas &, Punta Carrion, Santa Fe, Floreana or Isabela. Twin Craters in Santa Cruz Island’s hills are the final destination.
4 morning Iguassa Falls
Includes white water rafting, plane trips over the Iguassa valley, and forest treks to see animals, including toucans and giant butterflies. Includes a magnificent journey of Salvador. Visits to the Portuguese and Brazilian sides of the falls are followed for panoramic walks.

Before ascending via a cable car to Sugar Loaf Mountain, the guests will enjoy a walk along Guanabara Bay in Rio. Also includes a drive along Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon shores, before taking in the Statue of Christ the Redeemer at the top of Corcovado Mountain, via cogwheel rail.

On Copacabana Beach, visitors can spend about five hours relaxing.
Sunset Schooner Cruise
This three-hour boat trips along the beach of Rio de Janeiro, passing by the shores of Flamengo, Botafogo and Urca, as well as offering perspectives of Sugar Loaf Mountain and the Niterói shores.
Features of Manta and Montecristi
A guided excursion from Manta to Montecristi, residence of the Toquilla hat. When in Montecristi, visitors will witness a spinning demonstration where a guideline will describe the steps involved in making the hats.
Dinner and Tango Shows in Buenos Aires
A complete tour of the capital of Argentina, followed by dinner and a dance performance.
The 78-night South America tour will also have a World Voyage concoction group, a maritime Gala event, a special commemorative gift for guests, and a World Voyage concierge.
