Intrepid Travel is advancing its renewables approach in Latin America by bringing Quito, Ecuador’s first-ever electric car for customer payments. Intrepid becomes the single travel agency in Quito now offering EV payments and the first to start redesigning the area’s go footprint with planes already in place in Bogota, Colombia.

The fresh EV is just the start. In order to completely replace its Ecuador ships in the upcoming years, Intrepid is actively considering the possibility of an electronic minibus being introduced in 2026.

Eduardo Cuenca, Intrepid’s only transport company in Ecuador since 2012, has long been a partner in making the new electronic vehicle implementation possible.
