Although I typically advise travelers to book their travels well in advance, there are some situations where waiting it out might be the best course of action to take to save some cash on that special trip.

Case in point – tickets to five of the world’s most beautiful beautiful destinations has reached its quarterly small, so if you were hoping for a last-minute seaside getaway this October, congratulations!

You can report some significant discounts.

Ponder this your source of inspiration if you’re not entirely sure where you want to get this fall for some much-needed light because the locations featured below are the kinds of places every traveler wants to visit at least once in a lifetime.

Cancun, Mexico

According to Skyscanner, round-trip tickets between the U. S. and our all-time favorite Mexican city will start at just$ 176 this month, and though that’s just a single route departing from Fort Lauderdale, most people around the country can still cover all their flight costs for under$ 400 – it’s a great deal no matter how you slice it!

Do n’t worry if you feel a little rushed or overwhelmed and do n’t want to pack your bags just yet.

You can choose a resort and create an itinerary in November, which will allow you to avoid the summer/winter peak.

And I’m not just talking about the cost of airline tickets here; visiting Cancun now that the crowds have subsided and Playa Delfines and Playa Tortugas are n’t overwhelmingly overcrowded is truly a dream come true.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

I know that Punta Cana has been all the rage these past couple of years, but straight now, we’re focusing on the Dominican Republic’s beautiful cash instead.

Santo Domingo has a rich history and culture, as well as its beachfronts, which are much cleaner and more tranquil at this time of year.

The best news, however, is that this month you can fly to the Caribbean jewel for less than$ 200. The starting cost for economy flights in the summer is well over$ 450, so imagine how much room has just opened in your hotel and entertainment budget!

Santa Marta, Colombia

Moving on to a lesser-known hotspot, Santa Marta is one of Colombia’s best-kept stones.

The city is currently officially entering its dry season, which means you can enjoy Playa Blanca and Tayrona without worrying about the weather ( most days, temperatures hover around a comfortable 82.4°F or 28°C, too ).

More importantly, though, no only is this one of the best price places you can visit right now in Colombia and beyond, but flying in and out of the area is at its cheapest, too.

As we speak, round-trip airplane tickets start at merely$ 274, and November will probably see similar prices.

Get warned, though, that as Santa Marta progresses into its clean season, airfare will certainly increase, but you’ll want to move fast.

Krabi, Thailand

There is no better place to go than Krabi if you want to sail across the globe for some of the world’s most breathtaking sights this fall.

This frequently overlooked Thai stone offers all the charm of Phuket and even the Island (yes, you heard me straight ) for a fraction of the price.

The only draw is that flights to and from Krabi can be a little cheap, in my opinion, in the thousands and thousands of money.

There is a time of year when a round-trip ticket falls below the$ 1000 mark, though, and that time’s now.

Those flying from LA this October and November can protect their travel to the Thai paradise with merely$ 998, and when you see what you’ll pay for food, lodging, and activities once you get these, it’ll all think like a steal!

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is one of those places that does n’t need much introduction, so I wo n’t dwell too much on it because I know you’ve probably dreamed about visiting Bali at least once in your life.

You can fly to the iconic Indonesian province and back for just a little over$ 700, which I guarantee you wo n’t be able to find a better deal than this the rest of the year, so now might be the perfect time to finally realize those plans. Since October is when you can finally make those plans happen, you can do so for the rest of the year.
