Lilly Endowment’s offer may serve as a precursor to size and promote NPF’s impact. The National Park Service and garden partners will collaborate to manage the finances to four top priority places:
- Inspire the Next Generation of Park Stewards: Providing opportunities for young people and young adults to develop a deeper understanding of history, respect for economic management, and relationship with our natural world.
- Addressing crucial efforts to safeguard the health and survival of the delicate ecosystems and a variety of types that call our national parks home.
- Maintain a World-Class Visitor Experience: Securing a prospect where national gardens can support unprecedented growth and leverage new technologies, while remaining visible and awe-inspiring for all guests.
