The launch of the new Member HUB, an online program and mobile application for the ATTA group to share information, engage in meaningful business discussions, and network with peers, media, and other things, was one of the important announcements at the 2018 Adventure Travel World Summit in Panama. Members can obtain the HUB’s membership benefits page and an engaging membership directory. Members are encouraged to use the software to keep up regular dialogue, connect with other community members, and keep connected after occasions like the Summit.

Lesley Francois, the director of society at ATTA, is one of the project’s important prospects. She graduated from the University of Washington with a master’s degree in connection with a focus on communities and networks, and has more than ten years of experience working in system management for various niche travel sectors.

Here’s what she had to say about the new Member HUB, the history of its makeover, its potential to increase relationship and cooperation among people, and the system’s new capabilities for serving the ATTA area.

Tell me about the makeover method. What went into the planning and execution stages? When and why?

The HUB remodel job began several years ago under the command of our former Vice President of Community, Mira Poling Anselmi, and our Director of Product Strategy, Murray Bartholomew. After seeing a drop in usage, they gathered member suggestions for more interesting platforms that truly reflect our shared needs. The project’s initial goal was to incorporate group feedback to ensure that the new HUB was built with their input at its base.

In August of this year, Mira and I began collaborating tightly to define the goals for this innovative HUB. As we worked together to create a system that would increase wedding and provide relevant benefits to our members, we examined best practices for virtual community building.

Did you encounter any surprises along the way? Or did you significantly alter your approach as a result of your discovery of new technology skills?

Yes, we immediately realized that while a new system and style were crucial, the real success lies more in the people and tactics behind it. In keeping with this in mind, we spent a lot of time evaluating and improving our website community framework and engagement strategy in addition to the technical work we were doing, such as creating a new mobile app and community platform.

How did that impact your proposal plan, given that you must have encountered some difficulties?

It involved developing a comprehensive strategy that acknowledged a fundamental truth: putting a focus on building relationships with people and developing a member-centric method.

In today’s fragmented digital world, creating an online community is a significant challenge because so many websites are competing for clients ‘ attention and user expectations are constantly changing, and associations must overcome significant obstacles to creating a community where members feel connected and engaged.

In today’s aggressive interest business, what distinguishes the ATTA area?

Luckily, the ATTA has a solid basis as it embraces this modern shift. Over years, we have grown into a large, worldwide network of people who share a sense of faith and brotherhood. We are simply intentionally bringing this established rapport to an online community base because it already exists. My hope is that despite the difficulties of modern fragmentation, this 20-year legacy will serve as a launching pad for growth and development.

What are some of the new HUB’s capabilities, and how can they best serve the ATTA people?

The new HUB’s mobile game is one of its main features that we’re most enthusiastic about. We recognized that wireless accessibility was necessary because our world community is usually on the move or on the trail. For some, smart supply is more than just convenience, it’s an convenience concern. By providing a mobile-friendly system, we aimed to make the HUB inclusive and accessible to as many people as feasible.

The addition of all three of our membership levels, which are now available to our completely community members, is another significant progress. Prior to now, there was no system to grant free community members access to the HUB. Today, every part, regardless of their rank, you get the HUB and join with its assets, with certain features and spaces unlocking based on different account levels.

What do you think about using the HUB as a group director from the standpoint of your job?

The system itself, which is hosted by Circle, a leading provider of group platforms, was chosen for its robust product that aims to foster community connections. We plan to add more of our members ‘ access to online occasions and webinars in 2025 thanks to this powerful system.

I am excited to network and strategy webinars, online meetups, and electronic events that foster associate engagement. Interestingly, we want to make use of this new tool to improve interactions and make connections between users. A more active online community gives users the chance to exchange ideas and influence the ATTA’s plans for the future, both for our member base and the adventure vacation sector.

How does members process exploring the new HUB given that there are so many spaces and channels to navigate? Are there any places where members of the community can volunteer?

For our professional and business associates, we’ve introduced a” Begin Here” section to help them get oriented with the new system, accompanied by a complete HUB Guide. I highly advise members to explore areas that are most in line with their interests and requirements. Everyone can navigate the HUB confidently and make the most of what it has to offer thanks to this orientation step.

My first ask for all members is simple: introduce yourselves. Our neighborhood has always been warm and welcoming. I invite everyone to visit the HUB, say hello, re-connect with old friends, make new friends, and begin putting faces to the names of the people and businesses that make up our global network.

What do you hope the new HUB will accomplish?

Our vision for this project was rooted in capturing the essence of what defines the ATTA community: the relationships, the shared values, and the deep sense of purpose that binds us together. Our events are renowned for delivering palpable energy and a unique camaraderie that only exist when members of such a dynamic group interact in person. These global gatherings, hosted in various corners of the world, have long been the heartbeat of our community experience.

The new HUB serves as a global gathering place for the ATTA community, which is our main objective. A place where the ATTA community can connect throughout the year and not just during events. We hope the HUB provides a resource and networking space for members year-round that goes beyond our regular physical gatherings.

The HUB is accessible via Google Play for Android users, the Apple App Store, and Google Play for web browser users. All members sign in using their ATTA account information. If you do n’t have an ATTA account, you can create one here. In the HUB, community members can access ATTA news and events. We ask that you consider upgrading your membership to gain additional benefits in order to unlock even more features.
